How do Access Numbers work?

Its very simple to call abroad using local access numbers. Just:

1. Dial the access number of your destination country. e.g. for Pakistan dial 0844 566 2222
2. Dial your international number in full (including 00 + country code + area code + phone number)
3. It’s that simple. You’re connected instantly to your destination phone.

You should use this method when calling from UK landlines.

The simplicity of this method is that you do not need to enter a PIN number, neither do you run out of credit. The call charges appear on your regular phone bill.

Please check with your phone provider to confirm the cost of calling the access number before you call. if you call the access number from a mobile, costs may vary from provider to provider.

Buy an International Phonecard via SMS text message

You can buy an International Phonecard by simply sending a text message from your UK mobile.

You can then use your text credit to call abroad from UK Landlines and mobiles from just 0.5p per minute.

How?

It works like this:
1) Text the message CREDITMENOW to the short number 80550.

2) This text will cost you £5 and we will credit your phone with £5 of call credit. We will send you a confirmation text with your PIN and Access Number.The charge of £5 will appear on your regular phone bill.

When you send the text message CREDITMENOW to 80550, you will receive the following reply:

“Thank U. U have £5 credit . Your pin is 1234567891. No need 4 pin from this phone. To call use access 02071246666 at promt dial destination., don’t hit send.”

Notice the message says, “No need 4 pin from this phone.”

What this means is that you can make your call from the mobile from which you sent the text message without entering the PIN number that you received.

If you wish to make a call from a phone other than the mobile from which the text message requesting credit was sent, you will be asked to enter the PIN when you call the access number.

You can therefore use your text credit to call abroad from your mobile or from a landline phone.
